Yoga by the Sea

Our guided retreats are designed for women of all ages with none or limited yoga experience that would like to not only practice with me, but also learn a few techniques to take back home. Flexibility is not required ¨If you can breathe, you can do yoga¨ (Krishnamcharya)

Back in 2018, I realized that we all long for the time and space to push pause on their daily routine and create space for oneself. That is how the concept of Calma Retreat began to develop, a space and a time where our community of participants can reconnect with themselves in a beautiful and serene atmosphere.

At the Calma Retreat our experienced teachers incorporate classes across a number of Yoga Disciplines to strengthen your body and mind and empower you to continue your practice and habits long after you leave thee retreat

During my 20 years experience as an analyst in the healthcare and diagnostic industry, I have witnessed the rise of chronic diseases and the impact of Western lifestyles on the physical and mental well-being of others and its impact on the general level of people's happiness and their relationships with loved ones.
I wanted to find tools to help me and others around me to cope better with today's demands and live healthy, happier lives, and this desire was the inspiration to begin my yoga journey. Over the last few years, I have learnt the tools and philosophy behind small lifestyle changes to prevent common mental and physical health issues.

As a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher specializing in breath-based Hatha, Yin yoga, and meditation, I focus on connecting the body, mind and breath through easy to do routines that can fit into any lifestyle.  My classes are gentle, inclusive, and personalized, catering to all levels of experience and without acrobatics or judgement. As Krishnamacharya said, "If you can breathe, you can do yoga."


My journey as a yoga student and teacher continues to inspire me to help others find their path to a more balanced life.
